Lid for to-go coffee mug
The present invention relates to a solution for e.g. a mug by which staff can serve e.g. coffee.
Customers at gas stations and similar places where the expedition usually goes strong, it would be desirable to be able to quickly serve a good cup of coffee to take, a so-called cup of coffee-to-go. In these cases it is essential that the serving can be done both quickly and with a properly measured amount of coffee in the mug, so that the strength does not differ too much from time to time.
The staff of aircraft, trains and buses that serve coffee for passengers must either serve pre-made coffee or measure a certain amount of granular coffee in a mug and then top up with hot boiled water. During the latter handling, the staff will inevitably serve coffee mugs with different strengths of coffee, because the staff must manually measure powder coffee for example. with a small spoon.
The disadvantages of normal handling of granular coffee are that granular coffee is far too inaccurate and difficult to handle quickly. Handling works best at the dining table. The disadvantage, therefore, will always be that there is uncertainty as to whether a too strong or too thin coffee is mixed if it is to be made quickly.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution with a mug which is arranged so that drinks of e.g. Coffee can be mixed with the same strength from time to time. The disposable lid must be inexpensive to produce and suitable for coffee-to-go mugs.
The object of the invention is surprisingly found to be a disposable lid
DK 2018 70228 A1 for a mug e.g. a disposable mug, wherein the lid contains a metered amount of what is to be diluted or dissolved in a liquid in the disposable mug, and wherein the enclosed granular coffee can be discharged by a simple tear-off of a foil retaining granular coffee.
There are two examples of how this can be done. In one, the granular coffee is pressed out into the liquid by means of a specially arranged piston. In the second, the film is pulled off by means of a pull in a slip of the film, which reaches the surface of the lid through a slot.
In order that the invention may be well understood, some non-limiting examples are now described in which,

FIG. 2 shows the disposable lid (3) of the piston of FIG. 1 seen from below. There are four transverse walls (4) forming a cavity (5) together with the foil (2) and the top drop (6) of the disposable lid (3).

FIG. 6 shows the plunger of FIG. 2 alone. It has four knife-shaped sides (7) which can cut out the foil when the piston is pressed down. A small hole (8) in one knife surface is made so that a piece of the foil (2) is not cut, whereby the glued foil (2 in a small tab remains on the inside of the lid. The piston is provided with a (9) ) top with two beads (10) and (11) The upper bead (10) is arranged to prevent the plunger from continuing down into the disposable mug after activation.
FIG. 7 shows an example of a disposable lid (3) according to the second and preferred example of the invention seen from above. The only visible is the end of a slip (12) which can be pulled in from the outside, while the disposable lid (3) sits on a mug. The slip (12) proceeds through a slot (13) below the disposable lid (3) and is secured at its other end to a piece of foil (2) which is glued to a volume (5) so that the foil (2) forms the bottom in the volume. The release (12) may be provided with barbs (not shown) which, after being pulled through the lid, prevent the release of foil from falling into the coffee.

A lid (3) e.g. a disposable lid (3) for a mug e.g. a disposable mug characterized in that the lid (3) is arranged with a volume (5) having a base which may contain or retain a substance, e.g. granular coffee, and a triggering mechanism (1, 12) which can be activated by the user, thereby releasing the substance of the volume (5) to the mug when the bottom is removed.
